Takako offers private Koto lessons. A lesson usually goes from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Each student will receive a personalised lesson plan which suits the individual goals of the student.

School Program
Would are your students be interested in learning more about Japanese
culture? Takako have been providing a Koto learning experience at
various schools as a licensed Koto teacher and experienced high school
teacher for over seven years. The lesson can include a history of Koto
music, Japanese language used in Koto music and the culture of the
Kimono as a costume for playing the Koto. Students can also enjoy having an
experience to touch and play a real Koto. (depending on a class size) Please
